| I finished the first of many holiday knits for this year. The hardest part of this whole project was getting a picture of it! My camera's batteries were dead and I couldn't find more, my phone takes terrible pictures, and my BF's phone's batteries were dead as well. All of this would be solved if I bought a new rechargeable camera ;) I would totally recommend this pattern because it is just enough detail to be fun without being tedious. The purple yarn is some kind of wool and the white I used is wool bamboo blend. I purchased it at my LYS and used it for some gift bags that I ended up not liking so I unraveled them for these.
